Pricing your property is one of the most difficult tasks for agents. You love your house, you know everything you put into it—all your time, money and love most likely went into improving your home. Whether it was just for you, your loved ones or your fur babies, you’ve likely made updates that improved the value of your home, and now you want the best possible price for it.

I get it. I understand. As your agent, I also want you to sell for the highest price possible. I want you and your family to walk away feeling good about the sale as you move onto your next home. However, I want all that to happen in a reasonable time frame. Statistically, when homes are listed above their market value, they will sit on the market longer and end up selling for far less than the original asking price.
